Advantage of marriage...

One advantage of marriage,
it seems to me,
is that when you fall out
of love with him,
or he falls out of love with you,
it keeps you together
until maybe you fall in again...

Lovely poetry!!

"AT the touch of love everyone becomes a poet" :)

Life is all memory...

Life is all memory, except for the present moment that goes by so quickly, you hardly catch it going!!

Love this thought!!

What's your dream?

A successful life is lived through understanding and pursuing ones own path, not chasing the dreams of others - what's your dream?

Nice one.

Racism will never end as long as...

Read this somewhere and I really liked it... Not the last sentence but the thought of never ending Racism is truly worth thinking about...

[Nice speech by Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe: "Racism will never end as long as white cars are stil using black tyres.
Racism will never end if people still use black to symbolise bad luck and white for peace. Racism will never end if people still wear white clothes to weddings and black clothes to funerals. Racism will never end as long as those who don't pay their bills are blacklisted not whitelisted. Even when playing snooker. You haven't won until you've sunk the black ball, and the white ball must remain on the table. But I don't care, as long as I'm still using white toilet paper to wipe my black ass, I'm fine!"...]

Gratitude...

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.  It turns what we have into enough, and more.  It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.  It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.  Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates a vision for tomorrow.

Wisdom of the Mirror!!

"I am Looking at the Person who is Responsible for My Past,  for Where I am Today and for My Future!!"

Goodbye...

Goodbye...

You and I will meet again,
When we're least expecting it,
One day in some far off place,
I will recognise your face,
I won't say goodbye my friend...

Goodbyes are not forever...
Goodbyes are not the end...
They simply mean I'll miss you...
Until we meet again...

You and I will meet again...

If you don’t like the weather, then change it

If you don’t like the weather, then change it…

You can do whatever you want today.

You can walk out the door into a cold, dreary day that makes you want to go back to bed. Or you can step out into a crisp, invigorating day that puts a little extra bounce in your step. It doesn't matter what the weather report says, what matters is you.

Does God exist?

A man went to a barbershop to have his hair cut and his beard trimmed. As the barber began to work, they began to have a good conversation. They talked about so many things and various subjects. When they eventually touched on the subject of God, the barber said: “I don’t believe that God exists.” “Why do you say that?”asked the customer.

Burnt Biscuits

When I was a kid, my Mom liked to make breakfast food for dinner every now and then. And I remember one night in particular when she had made breakfast food after a long, hard day at work. On that evening, my Mom
placed a plate of eggs, sausage and extremely burned biscuits in front of my dad. I remember waiting to see if anyone noticed! Yet all my dad did was reach for his biscuit, smile at my Mom and ask me how my day was at
school. I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember watching him smear butter and jelly on that  biscuit and eat every bite !

Do you have a problem?

Here's the answer/solution to it...
Just as Brian Tracy says, "You have a problem? What you gonna do about it?"

Some cause happiness...

Some cause happiness
           wherever they go;
                      others, whenever they go.

~ OSCAR WILDE

I have fallen but...

Having courage
           does not mean
                      that we are unafraid.

Having courage
           and showing courage
                      mean we face our fears.

We are able to say,
           "I have fallen,
                      but I will get up".

Why walk when you can fly!

Feb 1 Murali Basati: Why walk when you can fly!"

Once there was a king who received a gift of two magnificent falcons from Arabia. They were peregrine falcons, the most beautiful birds he had ever seen. He gave the precious birds to his head falconer to be trained. Months passed and one day the head falconer informed the king that though one of the falcons was flying majestically, soaring high in the sky, the other bird had not moved from its branch since the day it had arrived.

The king summoned healers and sorcerers from all the land to tend to the falcon, but no one could make the bird fly. He presented the task to the member of his court, but the next day, the king saw through the palace window that the bird had still not moved from its perch.

Having tried everything else, the king thought to himself, "May be I need someone more familiar with the countryside to understand the nature of this problem."

So he cried out to his court, "Go and get a farmer."

In the morning, the king was thrilled to see the falcon soaring high above the palace gardens. He said to his court, "Bring me the doer of this miracle."

The court quickly located the farmer, who came and stood before the king. The king asked him, "How did you make the falcon fly?"

With his head bowed, the farmer said to the king, " It was very easy, your highness. I simply cut the branch where the bird was sitting."

We are all made to fly -- to realize our incredible potential as human beings. But at times we sit on our branches, clinging to the things that are familiar to us. The possibilities are endless, but for most of us, they
remain undiscovered. We conform to the familiar, the comfortable, the mundane. So for the most part, our lives are mediocre instead of "exciting, thrilling and fulfilling."

So let us learn to destroy the branch of fear we cling to and free ourselves to the glory of flight.

What do you want to be?

PENCIL: I'm sorry because you get hurt because of me. Whenever I made a mistake, you're always there to erase it. But as you do that, you lose a part of yourself.

ERASER: That's true. But I don't really mind. I was made to help you whenever you do something wrong. Even though I'll be gone and you'll replace me with a new one, I hate seeing you sad dear.

......so what you want to be ?

Love People; Not Things

Let's try always to keep this thought in mind:
Things are to be used,
People are to be loved.

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character;
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

Maybe

This one was a FWD message I received today... Its a beautiful poetry.. with beautiful thoughts...
I love this poetry...

Maybe...
We were supposed to meet the wrong people before meeting the right one,
So that when we finally meet the right person, we will know how to be grateful for that gift.

Maybe...
When the door of happiness closes, another opens; but, often times,
we look so long at the closed door that we don't even see the new one which has been opened for us.

Maybe...
It is true that we don't know what we have until we lose it,
but it is also true that we don't know what we have been missing until it arrives.

Maybe...
       The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything;
they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.

Maybe...
The brightest future will always be based on a forgotten past; after all,
you can't go on successfully in life until you let go of your past mistakes, failures and heartaches.

Maybe...
You should dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go, be what you want to be,
because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you dream of, and want to do.

Maybe...
There are moments in life when you miss someone -- a parent, a spouse, a love, a friend,
a child -- so much that you just want to pick them from your dreams and hug them for real,
so that once they are around you appreciate them more.

Maybe...
The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word,
and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

Maybe...
You should always try to put yourself in others' shoes.
If you feel that something could hurt you, it probably will hurt the other person, too.

Maybe...
You should do something nice for someone every single
day, even if it is simply to leave them alone.

Maybe...
Giving someone all your love is never an assurance that they will love you back.
       Don't expect love in return; just wait for it to grow in their heart;
but, if it doesn't, be content that it grew in yours.

Maybe...
Happiness waits for all those who cry,
all those who hurt, all those who have searched,
and all those who have tried,
for only they can appreciate the importance of all the people who have touched their lives.

Maybe...
You shouldn't go for looks; they can deceive; don't go for wealth; even that fades away!
Go for someone who makes you smile, because it takes only a smile to make a dark day seem bright.
Find the one that makes your heart smile :-)

Maybe...
You should hope for enough happiness to make you sweet,
enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human,
and enough hope to make you happy.

Maybe...
You should try to live your life to the fullest because when you were born,
you were crying and everyone around you was smiling but when you die,
you can be the one who is smiling and everyone around you crying.

Maybe...
You could share this message with those people who mean something to you,
to those who can and do make you smile when you really need it,
to those who make you see the brighter side of things when you are really down,
and to all those whom you want to know that you appreciate them and their Friendship.

I found this way to share this message with you and with everyone who read my blog. Thank you for stopping by and reading this message.

I Miss You...

I Miss You... are 3 words but takes
         3 seconds to read,
         3 mins to think,
         3 hours to understand,
         3 days to demonstrate,
         3 weeks to explain
         and
whole life to prove it...
